This is a two pack solvent based inorganic zinc silicate primer, which can be used as single coat system or in conjunction with suitable top coats.
This primer provides outstanding cathodic protection to steel surfaces preventing corrosion under extreme conditions.
RANGE OF APPLICATION
The system recommended for application on suitably primed steel structure exposed to chemical and industrial environment in refineries, petrochemicals, paper and pulp plants, and fertilizer industries. This product is recommended for use in sea weather (Coastal Areas).

Before applying primer remove oil & grease, oil, & other contaminants by using proper degreasing & de-rusting chemicals, if heavy rust is present blast clean the surface.
After drying cleaning the surface; stir well the part 1 thoroughly. Weigh out the components in the recommended proportion (1: 1.5 by weight) and slowly add the part 2 with constant stirring preferably with a mechanical stirrer. Continue stirring still the powder is thoroughly dispersed. Filter the mixture through a 60 to 80 mesh sieve or nylon filter cloth. Allow the mix to mature for 15- 20 minutes. Apply by conventional spray or airless spray overcoat after 16-18 hours. This is a moisture cured system & may be applied at high humidity.
