Introduction -
Tuff Coats PU-101 Paint is the two-component system, designed to cross link at room temperature. Base component is an acrylic polyurethane i. e. Hydroxyl Functional Acrylic copolymer (pigmented) which reacts with blocked Aliphatic Polyisocynate adduct (second component) to form tough film with outstanding durability, chemical & weather resistance. The system also gives excellent gloss and color retention properties.
THE RANGE OF APPLICATION:
An effective Top Coat for petrochemical refinery and fertilizer industries. The system is useful for maintenance coating, structural coating as well as for floor coating. Because of rapid curing at room temperature and excellent toughness and abrasion resistance, resistance to heat, oil, Alcohol Acid & salty weather, as it has excellent adhesion to any kind of substrate like metal, wood, FRP, ABS plastics, castings, the system gives wide range of application in Aircraft finishes, transport finishes, and chemical industries. Due to its excellent finish & gloss used in various industrial equipments as well as domestic equipments like washing machines, office equipments etc.

APPLICATION -
Before application of Topcoat PU –101 Enamel do all necessary pretreatment of the job. For M. S. surface remove grease, oil & other contamination by using proper de-rusting & Phosphating chemicals to clean surface. Apply properly TUFF COAT PU- 101-primer Coat / Ep-101 Epoxy Red Oxide Primer / Grey Primer / Zinc Rich Primer or Hi-Build wash primer. After proper drying of primer coat apply PU-101 Enamel. For old concrete remove salt deposition/ fungal growth, loosely bound coatings, dust particles and make the surface rough. Also for new concrete do the needful pretreatment /priming and then apply Topcoat PU-101 Enamel. Stir the base component thoroughly & mix four parts of base & one part of hardener by volume to uniform consistency. Keep it for 15-30 min for stabilization & stir again before use. Make required viscosity as per application method with TC/PU 101 Thinner. Mix the above material as per requirement because of 4-5 hrs.
Pot life: -close the containers immediately to avoid the chances of the moisture absorption in material. Do not apply in humid condition during the raining, fog or mist or at very low temperature i. e. bellow 7° C
Stability of Hardener - Once the hardener container is opened; try to consume it immediately because it reacts with Hydroxyl groups present in atmosphere & it results in to geletion

Hydroxyl Functional Acrylic copolymer (pigmented) which reacts with blocked Aliphatic Polyisocynate adduct (second component) to form tough film with outstanding durability, chemical & weather resistance. The system also gives excellent gloss and color retention properties along with Heat resistance up to 250° C

After proper drying of primer coat apply Acro- siloxane PU Paint Stir the base component thoroughly & mix four parts of base & one part of hardener by volume to uniform consistency. Keep it for 15 min for stabilization & stir again before use. Make required viscosity as per application method with PU 102 Thinner. Mix the above material as per requirement because mixture is having limited pot life 2-3 hrs only. Close the containers immediately to avoid the chances of the moisture absorption in material. Do not apply in humid condition during the raining, fog or mist or at very low temperature i. e. bellow 7° C
